pins and needles

I'm over here just waiting. Waiting to hear if everything will move forward or we will have to change all our plans. It's so nerve wracking. We need to get the appraisal ASAP and I think by this time we already need to move back the closing date to the 22nd now.

First of all this happened this morning:

I had pumped a little extra after feeding this morning and Micah really wanted to feed his sister. It's a perfect age for him to give her a bottle. She's not used to bottles, but seemed to take really well to her brother doing it. It was really the sweetest, cutest, heart melting moment. I didn't make him at all. That's the best part. He asked if he could feed her. I mean seriously? I need to give him the best brother of the year award.

We have had a great week with Nana coming on Saturday and Micah staying over Rachel's house Monday-Wednesday. He didn't sleep so great at her house, but it was his last time so he stuck it out. I was so glad to just have ONE day to myself minus a baby. But she was so easy. It was a breeze just having her around. I got a lot of cleaning and some packing done too.

We will be celebrating Caleb's birthday on Saturday and it will be our last time with all of us together here in Georgia. I can't believe how fast it flew by. Especially since I have an almost 6 month old now. I mean it just blows my mind how everything flies by. We are so excited about this house and just need this appraisal to happen and all will be good. I'm very happy they did it Wednesday night. It was a surprise. We didn't even know. Thankfully it happened and now we are just waiting for the report. It was supposed to be done at 1p.m. but looks like that didn't go through.

We go to hang out at Rachel's pool on Monday and Wednesday. I'm so sad I won't be able to hang out more this summer. Swimming is so much fun with all the boys and their puddle jumpers. We don't have to worry about them as much.
It's finally getting really hot here and today should have been a pool day, but we got Micah's haircut and then went to the park.  I got to see a few friends because it may be the last time.

I will try and update once I know what's going on with the house. I feel like I have so much to do, but I really can't do it until I know we have a HOME. I can't change our address and then change it again. We are just praying so hard that everything works out, it's going to be really tough if it doesn't.

Two things Micah said the last few days. After his 3 year old appointment we had to talk about the doctor touching his private parts. I told him only mommy and daddy and doctors can touch him. Then he started telling me all the kids he knows that has a P*nis (excuse the language but we don't call it anything else.) Then he told me girls only have butts. To this I said...yes, yes son. You are right. Girls just have butts right now and I'm OK with this theory.
And the other day he was pretending a crocodile was going to get him if he fell off the bed and he kept saying Crackerdile. I was laughing to myself and then starting saying crackerdile too. OH yes and his cousins all have a kindle and he doesn't understand what they are saying so whenever he wants to play with it he says, "Mom can I play with the candle?" We call his tablet the "big phone" so he thinks his cousins are playing with a device called candle. Which makes sense to a three year old.

Also, Noelle has found her thumb. No need for pacifiers for this girl. She can pretty much get around on the floor. Not crawling yet but spinning around on the floor and able to move by rolling around. I know she's about to crawl any day now and I'm not ready. She still isn't sleeping through the night, but I'm thinking to tackle that when we move. Seems pointless right now since lots will be changing.

Anyway lots of fun pics and videos to share with you all!!

Pool play date with my MOPS friends.

Little Hannah is one of Micah's girlfriends. Micah says he has a lot of boyfriends too ((hmm))

Micah and Nolan playing together... They have a such a sweet bond and I'm so sad to take them away from each other.

Pool day with Hannah. It was such a perfect day and we had a blast. Micah even got some open mouth kisses from his sister.

Picked up Nana from airport Saturday night and we all had a sleepover at my house.

Noelle with Averie and papa playing on Monday.

Micah sleeping over at his cousins.
She is such an eater now. She will eat puffs dipped in sweet potato for days. I can't believe my 6 month old loves to eat puffs already. She wants to eat everything I am and if she doesn't get it she gets a little crabby.

Pool and Packing

We are almost there!! So close to finally buying this house. The inspection repair should be figured out by today and then we only have the appraisal. We are trying to plan everything around moving into this new home and if it doesn't go through it will be very devastating. We even have Grandpere, Tammi, Zeke, and Hannah coming to help us now. It's going to be a crazy week of packing and driving with all these kids. I think Micah will love his cousins with him though. He might even forget that he is moving. So keep praying everything goes smoothly and that we get this house.

We had a fun weekend of pool and church. Saturday I even got a facial thanks to Mark's girlfriend Blair who sent me a gift card when I had Noelle. I never had one before, but my face felt really nice afterwards. We hung out with our neighbor Maggie and her little girl Isabella all Saturday morning and then went to the pool with them and a few other neighbors later.

Here is Maggie reading to them both.
Noelle had a quick nap on me.
We can't seem to fit her chunky thighs in the Bumbo.
Micah loves to help feed her.

I got to sing for the last time at church on Sunday. It was bittersweet. I love this church and I'm so sad to be leaving. I know some people at the church in Dallas and hoping I can jump right in soon after we move.

Monday morning Micah decided he wanted to go to the children's museum. He said, "Mom I want to go to that place where I can grocery shop." I was surprised. So I said Yes of course. He then went potty and put on his clothes and there was NO struggle at all. I was so happy not to force clothes on him. Since he decided to go ....his mind was set and it was so easy getting out.

He also told me to take all these pictures. The first one he said he was the King Lion and Noelle was his little lion.
Then he wanted to show Noelle pics of him as a baby and her and a newborn.
Here we are at the museum and Noelle wanted to put all this PLAY food in her mouth. I'm so surprised on how much she wants to eat. But judging by her size I think it's time.
 Micah loved painting.

Here she is eating a MUM MUM. She could eat something all day.

I took a few videos of her eating. It's funny because she would rather do it by herself. She doesn't like it when I try to shove food in her face... I get it. So when I give her a spoon she almost gets more in than I DO!

Here's a cute one that she WAS laughing before I started the video. LOL

Tomorrow I'm having a MOPS play date at my pool. It's not even going to hit 80 degrees, which is really weird. It doesn't even seem like summer yet. Hope it's sunny tomorrow. Then Craig is leaving me for a boys weekend in Louisiana (I'm such a great wife I know) and my mom is coming into town on Saturday and Hannah is coming over to play in the morning. Then they all will sleep over and I hope we can do something fun on Sunday together. Everyday counts now! The countdown begins...packing up JUNE 22nd!!

Love you all

Grandmere and grandpere

What a crazy weekend. We had so much fun and the days went by so fast. Not only were grandparents here, but we had some life changing decisions happen. Thursday afternoon when they had just arrived, Craig got the call and was offered the position in Dallas. It was our answer we have been waiting for. My heart sank as I thought of leaving my sisters and friends, but I was overcome with joy at the same time to return to a place I know and love. Also, the fact that we had no idea where we would live or if we wanted to buy or rent...it was such a hard time. Finally we could start making plans. So my friend from Dallas sent us a few homes and I really liked one of them. She called me on Memorial Day an said she could stop by the home and show us through FaceTime. Seemed like a good idea. Her and her family walked inside the home and we got the full tour. There was nothing we didn't like. Everything was beautiful and had all of are requirements. So we decided to put in an offer and get a taste of what they wanted. They came back at FULL price which was a little discouraging, but we felt they knew the house was worth what they were asking. So we came back and full price and asked them to pay closing costs. THEY ACCEPTED!! Now we are scrambling to do everything we need to in the time. Back to Grandparents....I can't believe how God works. He knew we needed to have someone there we could bounce ideas off of. It was so nice that Kim loved the home too. It made me feel at ease. The contract even says we can close by JUNE 21st. WOW. I mean I don't want to get my hopes too high, but wow!! How wonderful.

Now to our wonderful time with them...Thursday we went out to dinner at Pappasitos. It is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants. Friday it was the most gorgeous weather, and we were at the zoo. It was perfect and everyone was comfortable and happy! I could not have asked for better weather. Saturday we had a pool party in the neighborhood. Lots of food was made for one of my friends birthday. Rachel even came to hang out with us for a bit. So nice to be with her too!! Sunday was church and brunch and then we chilled at home. Monday we went to the outlets and all got some new clothes and shoes. Noelle got some new headbands and I got a shirt that says, "No Days Off." It was a running shirt, but I couldn't pass it up for what it meant for me. I will wear it with pride as if I had no days off of running. My no days off seems a bit harder...that's just my opinion. Tuesday we has cinnamon rolls and started the crazy process of buying a home. Then took Micah to Chucky (Chunky as he calls it) Cheese for some fun games.
Micah cried because he wanted to go with and drop them off at the airport...so I gave in and let him.  He did take a little nap on the way there, but was happy he was a part of the trip.  We had such a wonderful time. Baby NJ could not get enough snuggles with her grandma. I mean she was such a snuggle bug to her...it melted my heart everyday. It meant so much to us that they were able to come and spend time with Micah and Noelle. They love them so much.

Please be praying for our next steps in buying this house. This is our first time buying and still nervous about it all. Today is the inspection, so we should find out if there's anything big going on. We love you all and appreciate your prayers for our family.
