It's the most wonderful time of the YEAR

We just had the greatest time with our Nana and Papa this last week. It really flew by way faster than I ever imagined. I didn't realize how fun it would be to have visitors during the holiday season. There was so much to do and see including Micah's preschool Christmas concert and cookie party. We went to the museum and did some shopping. Made some crafts for presents and ate lots of yummy food and homemade cookies. Super excited Papa and Nana were able to make the "no bake" cookies perfectly this time. They were so delicious and looking forward to making more with Micah to share with friends. Not only did it FLY by, but now we are about to make our way to Chicago for more Christmas fun! I think this may be our most busy year with both kids...but I am loving every bit of it. Especially that they are old enough to enjoy the sights and sounds and the REAL meaning of Christmas.

Pictures of the week...

Ten 50 BBQ (one of our favorites)

We saw a nativity play after this and even Christmas lights, but I ran out of battery on my phone to capture more.

Perot Museum (Monday)

Tuesday I go to take the kids to the gym for a bit and after we headed to Hat Creek Burger to play and eat!!

Papa adopted another grandson there too!!

One night I made a Joanna Gaines breakfast casserole for dinner! Tasted great!

Shopping on Wednesday and got mom a few pairs of pants and some goodies at Origins and Aveda. Then hit up California Pizza Kitched. Papa and Noelle joined us with their new puppy they found in the mall!!

 Christmas Kisses
Thursday was my MOMS Connection Christmas Celebration. I got these cookies made for everyone by a friend who lives close by.

Then off to Micah's Christmas Concert!!

That night Craig and I got to volunteer at Toyzone for our church. Helping families get toys for their kids at a 99 percent discount!!

Friday we hit up story time at the library with Noelle while Micah was at school.
Then had a cookie with Micah when we picked him up.

Reading books together at night!

Saturday we had breakfast with Santa. I couldn't believe Noelle was ready to sit on his lap this time. It was the 3 or 4th time she's seen him this year and she finally felt like she knew him well enough to give him some love!!

Goodbye pictures are always hard, but a MUST!!

I have a few goals for 2019 and playing guitar is one of them. To my surprise my dad held onto his guitar from high school to pass down one day to his kids/grandkids. I couldn't believe it! The most special gift to be able to have a part of him and try to continue his legacy of loving music and praising God with song!

Last night we got to see Santa's Village (without P&N) and it was exciting again to see both kids enjoying Frosty and Mrs. Claus and all the lights.

We can't wait to celebrate Christmas with the Hooker's and are looking forward to making more memories this holiday season!
Wishing you all a MERRY CHRISTMAS.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government will be upon His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
