Sickness stinks

This weekend was so sad. I woke up Saturday morning throwing up and feeling horrible. Craig had to take over all day and I got to rest. I think it was the most rest I've gotten in the past few months. Micah had been saying his tummy hurts for a few days. He spit up Saturday night ...but seemed fine in the morning. Craig is home from work today because ehe is feeling bad. Thank goodness he hasn't thrown up but still his stomach is really upset. Seems like a mild case but still not fun at all.
So we've been inside this house for like 3 or 4 days. I'm going a little crazy!!

Last night Noelle slept great! I feel good today. I haven't been eating much and she seems to not be fussy. So now I'm thinking it's prolly something I eat when she is fussy at night. I need to eat but may have to be salads from now on...which I need to do anyways!! Haha

She is getting so big. I can't wait to take her to her 1 month and see how much she weighs! I don't know where my little baby went!

Also, I went to an open house for Micah on Sunday.  It's at a baptist church and only has 16 spots available for the fall.  I hope he gets in. It's very stressful for some reason. I don't know why there's not more preschools that we can choose from. I hope I can get him in at a good place. He's doing great with going on the potty so I know he'll be ready by September!

Noelle is starting to smile. I will get it on video soon! It's so sweet. I can't wait till she starts showing her personality. I just love her so much! I can't believe I have the best kiddos. I'm so lucky.

Chunky cheeks

I feel like she has gained 3 pounds since she was born. She has such Chunky cheeks and looks so big now. Time needs to slow down.

We had such a nice day on Wednesday. It was 70 degrees out. We met two mom's at story time and played outside after. I can't believe Noelle is getting sunshine on her face in January. It's been so great to get out with these two. When we stay home everyone gets a little crazy.

Yesterday Meg came over and dropped off dinner. She brought us a chicken pot pie. It was fun to see her little girl and for her meet Noelle.

I feel so great this morning. Noelle slept in her bassinet all night and woke up twice. I had atleast three hours each time. I've had to sleep with her to get that long aloft a stretch so it was so nice to sleep separate.

Micah is doing better with potty training. He will pee on the potty and keep his pants dry. The pooping thing may take a bit longer but I'm positive he'll be ready for school in September. I will be going to an open house this Sunday to try and enroll him in a three day program.

Also Micah knows all too much about mommy pumping and tried to do it himself. Too funny

No time

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted. It's so tough to have a minute to post and now there's so much to write about I don't know where to start.

I will just say this week went by fast again. My little girl is one month tomorrow. I can't believe it. She's getting so big. Today we went to church for the first time since she was born.  She did really good. I put her in a dress because I couldn't resist.

I ordered her birth announcements and got all our photos back. They are so precious!

This past week I went out with n oyster kids almost every day. We even made it to mops. It was so nice to get out and go to the park/mall/chickfila. Micah is doing pretty good. Sometimes had meltdowns but for the most part loves his sister still.

Rachel and the boys came over yesterday and Hannah visited today. I asleep had all the neighbors over on Friday night. It was really busy weekend...but we stayed home most of the time since it was raining out.

I'm getting a little bit more sleep and she is doing well at night. I'm not eating pizza right now since she seemed fussy everytime I did. But otherwise I'm eating whatever I want.

We have lots of people still bringing food and helping us out and I'm so grateful.

Also my parents are coming in about 2 weeks so that's something else to look forward too!!

It's 75

It was 75 degrees today. Can you believe it? We all went to the park and got some fresh air. This is actually the second day we went. Yesterday I took both kids by myself to the park too. I couldn't let this nice weather pass without getting outside. And poor Micah has been stuck inside with a newborn for the past 2 weeks. I knew I needed to go and I was determined.

Last night was rough.  I almost gave up for a bit. I was up from 5-7 am with a fussy baby. I can't tell you what was wrong. I think she needed to poo, but who knows. Later on in the morning she did have a massive explosion so that could have been the issue. I barley got 5 hours of sleep and that's broken up. Needless to say you didn't want to get on my bad side. Also Micah hear her crying and got up around 615am and made for an emotional day for him too. When we finally got outside all our worries seemed to fade away and melt into the sun. What a beautiful day! Noelle loved it too. I tried to catch a picture of her smiling but couldn't whip my phone out fast enough.

A cute story from yesterday: I was showing Micah a video of my cousin who posted him singing, "it is well" on facebook. He asked me what he was doing and I told him he was singing about God. Then Micah looked at me and said,"I love God." Woah. I wasn't ready for that. I was so surprised I didn't know how to respond. I wanted to leap off the couch and say Yay!!! I love him too. But I kept my cool and told him how much God loves him too. This little boy is so smart.  I pray that he always loves God and follows his path for his life.

"I'll take care of you "

Ok, so I know it won't always be like this but Micah has been the sweetest brother the last few days. Yesterday he came in my room and peeked in the bassinet and saw his sister sleeping. I then hear him whisper, "I love her." It was just so sweet and so genuine. My heart lept out of my chest and I was so happy. However I laid in bed bc I was still so tired. Haha

This morning Craig had to go back to work and Micah was ready. He told us he was going to take care of his sister. He kept saying, "don't worry Noelle, Micah is here and will take care of you." I mean seriously? I can't get enough of his sweet heart. He really loves her. Kisses and touches her head everytime he sees her. Right now I trust him with her.

So this past Sunday Hannah came over with Riley and brought us lunch. She then went to the store for me and cooked us dinner! What a blessing that was. And Riley and Micah never get to play alone. So it was a sweet time for them too. Here's the sad part. Rachel is still coughing and we don't know when she will be able to see Noelle. I mean even meet her:( so sad. Pray for her to stop coughing and feel better so she can see her little niece. 

Leslie is coming over shortly and we are excited to have visitors!!

Photo shoot

I was really nervous about the photo shoot but all went well. Noelle was amazing. Never cried once😆 She ate a little bit in between pics and of course slept alot. She woke up for the last part of the shoot which was pretty cool for her eyes to be open. I'm so happy with the photos. We just got a sneak peek and I'm so in love.

Micah had mixes emotions. First he was excited and then got sad when we were mostly taking pics of her. He decided to do a few cute ones and actually had a genuine smile which made me so happy. A few times he gave the photographer the stink eye and I was surprised.  So was she! She also said sometimes she never gets a photo with the siblings so Micah Did better than most!

Today Craig is taking Micah to see a movie. I think they are seeing Secret Life of Pets.  Hopefully it's cute! They went to the dollar theater again in case he doesn't want to watch the whole thing.

Tomorrow everyone is preparing for snow. I don't believe it until I see it. Atleast we have no plans and can stay inside. Looks like we'll have to wait another week to see Rachel and the boys. She is still coughing and can't seem to shake it. So sad. We've had Liam's present forever!! Haha

New year of four

It's a new year and we have a new way of life around here. FAMILY of four and today is our first day by ourselves. The Hooker's left this morning and I am so sad to see them go. I feel like they just got here.

I still have some visits to look forward too! My sister, Rachel still hasn't seen baby Noelle. Hopefully she is well enough to come this weekend. Then my parents come the beginning of February to stay with us. She will be about a month old then. Also most my friends still need to meet her. Lots to look forward too, but still sad to see them leave. It was so nice to get naps and have dinner made. Thankful for Tammi and the kids helping with Micah and of course grandpa or as Micah calls him now Grandpear.  (From Daniel tiger neighborhood)

They went to Legoland yesterday and Micah got a Lego set that has a potty. I'm hopeful that means he wants to start going on the potty, but when I ask him he's still not interested 😣

Thank goodness Craig is still home with me for another week or so. We are both tired but it's nice to have him. 

We took Noelle to her weigh in yesterday and she is 8 lbs 3 oz!!! Doctor said she's an over achiever. Music to a mom's ears!! I don't want her to get bigger, but I feel so happt that she's healthy.
