3 boys...3 and under

Well.. Let me say this has been an experience. I have three boys in this house under 3 and at times it is the most precious, loving, cutest, adorable place to be and other times chaotic is an understatement. Micah has been enjoying his cousins so much all the hard work is SOO worth it. He has been loved on by Liam and Caleb so much it makes me heart melt. These boys play so well together. Breakfast...Lunch..and Dinner are probably the hardest but still a good time. I have loved having them here at my house. Luckily no one has thrown up or gotten sick yet. (crossing my fingers still) but even if it happens it was all worth it. These boys are a lot of work, but at the end of the day the love you have for them grows stronger.

I have been so blessed to have them close to me and can't wait for many more adventures to come. I have a lot more pictures from our play date today except my phone hasn't uploaded them to google yet.

Here are some from the first day:

Thanksgiving photo of Rachel and her cuties.

 Micah saying "let me in"
At the park enjoying the nice weather in mid november

Everyone was tired so we sat on each other's lap

The next day was even nicer outside so we went to our favorite park around the corner and got our energy out.

Liam posing for me by the fountain
 How cute are these boys?
Liam is the best at smiling right now. Micah needs to learn

We have some really cute photos from our adventure today in Alpharetta but I will have to  post them next time.
We had so much fun today EVERYONE took a nap. And I mean every single person in this house was sleeping at one point. I call that a successful day!!

The day before Thanksgiving my neighbor came over with her son Nolan for a quick get together. It seems like we hadn't talked in so long. Nolan is getting so big. He is 7 months now. Micah wanted to sit and hold his hand. ....Ok now I think he REALLY needs a sibling. Pray for a miracle everyone! haha

If all goes as planned I am scheduled to get an HSG next month to make sure everything looks good with my other fallopian tube. I hope it will give me piece of mind and we can move on and start trying again.

We are so very thankful for this weekend to spend time with some family and love on cute little boys!

FYI everything I made on Thanksgiving turned out great!!! I had left overs a few times already. I'm pretty much obsessed with cornbread pudding. The boys didn't seem too thrilled with all the food, but they don't seem too thrilled with anything except MAC AND CHEESE!!! So I made that tonight and everyone was very happy.

Hope you all had a wonderful thanksgiving!! I need to start shopping...

Micah and Me

What is going on these days???? It seems like everyone is sick. I think every year we get excited for fall and almost always forget what comes with it...sickness, flu, cough, runny nose, and everything in between. My sister's household was struck with the stomach bug. Yikes... now that means four kids are susceptible to this virus. It takes about 3 days to get it and can be spread around for almost 2 weeks (or that's what I read) and I am over here like..I'm so sorry.  We got away with not getting the bug, but that doesn't mean we are free. Rachel and the boys are supposed to come over Wednesday night and stay all weekend for Thanksgiving. Caleb is still throwing up...so that means we could get it if they come over here. Poor Rachel... my heart hurts for her. Not only does she have to take care of two sick kids, Hannah left for Chicago, so she's by herself working and then came down with a horrible cold yesterday.
Micah and I went all the way out to Suwannee and brought her medicine, oranges, and soup because she couldn't even leave the house. We didn't go inside and I couldn't even hug her but I wanted to so badly. She took a chance and moved her family out here and so far it's been a mess. I mean I can't imagine how she is feeling right now. All I can say is it HAS to get better. I really don't think it could get any worse for her. PLEASE PLEASE PRAY for her and the boys.

So I told Micah we were going on an adventure to bring Auntie some much needed medicine. So we made a day out of it and took our time. Went to the park and tried to have as much fun as possible.

We made the best of it and tried to do our part in taking care of my sister. I love her so much.

On Sunday I got to see a friend who we met in Texas. Her family lives here in Marietta. It was like a 20 min drive to her moms house. So awesome!!! Gosh I really wish my sister's lived that close. How nice would that be? Anyways. She made us sausage meatballs, hash brown casserole and apple crisp. It was so yummy. I think she might come over and visit us on Friday before she leaves and meet my sis and her boys. I miss all my friends from Texas so much.

Also, they had a cat. I guess Micah's never been around one and he was chasing after him and playing with him the entire time. It was so fun. He is so used to dogs, but when he saw this cat he kept saying, "woah!" haha

I will be trying my best to make us a Thanksgiving feast on Thursday. Corn bread pudding, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole and HAM. I'm also going to do Pecan Pie again. Yesterday I made two banana bread's for breakfast. Just call me Susie homemake. The real test is if everything comes out yummy. We will see.

I am so thankful for my sweet little family. I gave Craig a big hug when he came home yesterday and said thank you for everything you do, I love you. His reaction was, "Are you pregnant?" haha I'm not sure why he asked that, but maybe that's on his mind. I said...I'm just thankful I can stay home and love on my son and it's the best job in the entire world and I can do it all because of you. I am so grateful for this life. I feel so very blessed.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Nana & Papa

Sometimes you just need to snuggle on the couch and watch some Tumble Leaf. That's Micah's favorite show. He's getting better at snuggling. I love this age!

This past weekend my sister traveled with her two boys to move in with my other sister here in GA. My parents drove also and helped them make the trip. It was a crazy weekend full of excitement, tears, love and crazy kids. Saturday we went over Hannah's house to see everyone and brought some pizzas. Craig found a little bike for M to ride while the boys were sleeping.

This was the first time Nana and Papa were with ALL of their grandkids. Seems kinda crazy that they haven't seen them all in one place before. Now all three of their girls live in GA. No one could have predicted this just a year ago. It's crazy how life changes so fast. I'm over here like...my sisters are close by, but my life is the only one not really affected by it all. Of course I get to see BOTH my sisters and their kids more...but day to day life is the same for me. Meanwhile my parents and both my sisters are drastically changing the way they live. It's a crazy thought.

Next week is Thanksgiving. I can't even comprehend it. I made a pecan pie for my dad while he was visiting me and it gave me a little taste of the holidays. We will have Rachel and the boys over here for Thanksgiving. I'm not really sure what we will be making yet. Should be a lot of fun though. Micah will love having them around for the week. Just hoping he keeps napping. Sometimes he doesn't want to nap when he knows he has visitors.

It tasted as good as it looks!!
Micah was excited to have Nana and had way too much fun with Papa. Papa definitely has a way with kids. They just gravitate to him. It's very cute. My parents were our first visitors to stay with us since moving in. I got to play qwirkle one night and I WON!!!! Also, I got to watch a movie the next night that I wanted to see. Craig fell asleep ...like usual so thank goodness I wasn't alone watching Jurassic World. It was predictable but still really good!

So now I'm sitting here wondering how it's going over there at Hannah's house. I really hope the transition works out. It's going to take awhile for everyone to get in the swing of things. Not to mention it's cold/flu season and it seems like someone over there is always going to be sick. I'm so happy the my sister Rachel can work from home for a little bit and spend more time with her boys. She deserves that.

Anyone have any suggestions what to make for a house full of little toddlers for thanksgiving? That's a tough one. I might just do everything I normally do and see if they will eat it. I know Micah will..he eats everything and anything still.

Also... He's really tall. I feel like he's growing a few inches every night. Tomorrow he might be as tall as me. hahah

Love you all

Give me some Suga(r)

I feel so refreshed and excited to get to typing today. I can't believe my last post was about my sweet Lotte girl. I still miss her everyday, but the last week I was able to visit my grandparents in Virginia and it has really helped me cope. I didn't know how I would feel after what happened, but leaving the house was the best thing I could have done.

I really don't know where to start. Being in VA brings back so many memories and I was so happy to make some more with my little man. Can I just say that he absolutely loved all the attention he got. I knew he would. This may have been the first time he was the ONLY grandchild around. Grandpa Pete and GG got to see his sweet side. I don't know if they wanted that many kisses and hugs from M, but they got their share. Every time Micah hugged one person he had to go around the room and hug everyone. Same for kissing and high fives. My mom, Micah and I stayed at a hotel about 6 minutes from their home. It was perfect. They had a continental breakfast every morning which made it fun for all of us. We got up around 7 a.m. and went downstairs for some eggs, yogurt, bagels... and most importantly COFFEE. Our hotel room was big enough to give Micah his own space and he slept great. Got up a little earlier than normal, but slept through the night like a champ.

I'll never forget running around in the lobby. Nana and Micah would play tag and he would get out all his energy. He was always ready for a nap around 11-12 p.m. When we got to GG's house he would play for about an hour and then slept in the pack and play for 3- 4 hours.  He is the perfect age to take to GG's house. He loved playing with his train and cars and would just have the best time performing for us in the living room. He also found a new best friend....Grandpa Pete. By the end of the week he was saying "Pee" meaning Pete. Grandpa played with him and gave him a few rides on his jazzy outside.
He would be sitting on Grandpa's lap and would say "Give me some sugar (in southern style it's pronounced "Sugah") Grandpa would try and tickle his neck and give him kisses and Micah would just laugh and laugh. Some other phrases I haven't heard in awhile: I Swoney, Lord (pronounced Lawd) have mercy, and Bless her heart. There are more of them, but those are the only ones I can think of at the moment.  I have an overload of photos to share and just looking at them you can see how much fun we had.
Grandpa turned 78 and we got to celebrate with him and go out for Mexican food!!  It was so nice to be there for his birthday and see him and GG. We also got to see my cousin Leia and Brandon and my aunt Shel and Ronnie. I didn't get a photo with all of them...woops ..but I have them captured in my memory.

I knew Micah was a great age for visiting them, but I didn't realize how wonderful it would be for me. I was so blessed by everyone. I really needed that time to heal. Even though I couldn't talk about Lotte much, being with everyone helped me more than I ever could have thought. Of course, my mom understands what it's like to lose a dog. We talked about the many dogs she has had in her life.

It was a lovely time to eat, talk, hear Peter Wonderful tell stories, and reminisce about the past.
Here are all the photos in order of when we got there.
