Switchfoot

Our friends from church had some extra tickets to the Dallas House of Blues to see Switchfoot. They asked us to go and we were so excited to be able to see them. It was a long night of standing on our feet and keeping our "spot," but we got so close to the band it was incredible. Our friend actually got the tickets for him and his two sons but they weren't able to make it. Their family is a huge Switchfoot fan and they go to see them every chance they get. So they were practically our parents age standing on their feet for over four hours. I was pretty impressed with them. I recently got a new phone and have been loving the pictures I am getting with it. I got some really great ones of the band Friday night that I wanted to share.

Went to House of Blues to eat before the show!

The lead singer Jon Foreman and his brother, Tim, play together in their band.
He surfed the crowd and instead of helping him through I grabbed this awesome photo!!

The Colony House played before them and their lead singer is Chris Tomlin's son and his brother plays the drums. They were really awesome!!

Saturday morning we headed to the St. Patty's parade downtown with all the kids. We took the train with 6 kids in tow!

This is our new friend Sara and her little girl Ruby June. Aren't they the cutest?? I just love them!

We ended up heading to a local brewery to get out of the crowd for a bit. What an amazing day with amazing friends and sunshine to top it off.

I couldn't find Noelle anywhere yesterday at church. I knew she had her donut and they were rehearsing the music in the auditorium. So when I went in there I found her sitting on a chair in the back listening, watching and eating her donut. It was the cutest thing ever! I'm glad she loves the music and this church!

We had the most gorgeous day yesterday. High of 67 degrees never felt so good!! We really needed it and we were outside pretty much ALL afternoon! Loving this weather.

Spring Break is over and we are ready to start a new week over here!!
Hope you all have a great Monday!

Cruising time

We booked another cruise for the end of April and we are getting so excited about it!! Lots to do and see and we feel like we know the ropes this time around. We didn't go with the same cruise line, but still feeling a bit more like cruisers. We will be going to Jamaica, Cozumel and the Grand Caymans for shore excursions this time. We may be horseback riding on the beach, snorkeling, and parasailing. It's going to be so much fun and lots of alone time with Craig. We really need this each year and it helps us to get through our time without family. Thankfully my dad is retired and they are able to come and watch the little ones for us.

We had the coldest day on Monday and then the warmest day on Saturday. It's been a weird weather system around here. I keep having to pull out jackets and then put them away. This week is Spring Break around here....so we are taking a break from school and bible studies. We have booked something pretty much each night this week. We seem to be good at keeping busy!!

I got  a new phone and have been loving the pictures I can take with it. I mean that's the point of a nice phone right?? The pictures? Here is some cute ones of my kiddos from the park.
