Memories

It was the first time in a long time I had been asked how old she was and literally didn't know. I said 15 months, but then questioned myself. I even told the person I really don't even know anymore. I can't keep track of time. So I got an email today saying my baby is 16 months and 2 weeks old today... there you go. I need baby center to keep this mommy brain going. I feel like I'm pretty good and keeping up with her age, but lately I just want to soak in every moment and don't want her to get older.

We had her 15 month appt last week (that may be why I'm all confused) and she got two shots. I talked to the doctor about her bad eating habits and so she told me to try less milk and do almond milk for half of the milk. We want to see if it will help her bowel movements and digestive system work a little better. I've cut her milk down significantly and she has been eating way better just in the last few days. She also has been eating more yogurt and having soft stools. We are calling it Number 2 around here now....because we told Micah not to say poop. He does a pretty good job for being a boy.

Here are some morning snuggle photos from Friday. She loves giving her brother hugs in the morning. It's like the day cannot start until these two give hugs.

I picked up Micah from school and we headed to Firewheel Town Center to pick up some clothes I ordered for the kids. Of course the train and train park were a must.

Saturday we headed to the AT&T Stadium to see the NFL Draft taking place. It was fun to walk around and Craig took Micah inside and got a tour of the locker room. Noelle and I had some bonding time as well!

It's funny when they see someone their size and are in awe.

Lunch or Brunch date after church on Sunday at Flying Biscuit!

And today we went to the jumpy place per Micah's request.

Then my friend Camille asked if Micah could play with Samuel at the park for a bit. I dropped off Micah at our park and she watched them all so Noelle could take a nap. What an amazing friend!! She sent me this photos!!

So now Micah is lying down and Noelle is still sleeping. WOOHOO Good start to a Monday!! Love you all

Soccer boy

Micah is loving soccer on Tuesday nights. It's a little difficult to get out there at 5:30p.m. but we are making it happen! Micah listens so well to his coach and really tries hard to do everything she says. There is one boy that does not listen at all and does everything he wants to do. It's not easy with him running a muck, but Micah still listens and obeys and we are so very proud of him. Yesterday they got their jerseys and wore them after practice for pictures. Their are four of them, but we only got three together.

Here you go... this is a great picture of how the whole practice goes. Micah and Samuel posing and doing what we say and Thomas doing his own thing..LOL

I mean... look at my son posing. He is so cute.

My neighbor Loyce sent me this photo of Noelle and I at the Arboretum. It was candid so I thought I would post it here. She is becoming a very strong willed little girl. If she doesn't get her way, Watch out. I have to start disciplining her because she is a disaster and when I do she screams and cries for about 30 mins. She gets very upset when I discipline her, but I need to start doing it or she is going to run me over.

Her smile does light up my life. Her love for her brother is the sweetest and she's a daddy girl for sure!! She's taking good naps still just is a little upset when she wakes. It's hard to calm her down. Actually her brother always does the trick. Once she sees him she is smitten and is hugging and snuggling him. Makes me fee like chopped liver...but I hope they always love each other like this. I will have to remind them about it in a few years I'm sure!

Love you all

Arboretum of Dallas

It's been a fun week with my littles. I wanted to let you all know what we did on Friday. My neighbor Loyce is about my grandmother's age... she always walks her dog and talks to me and the kids. She is a sweet lady and lives about two house down on our street. Last week she told me she had a pass to the Arboretum if the kids and I wanted to go. So I took her up on it and told her I would pick her up on Friday morning after I dropped off Micah at school. I felt bad for not taking him, but realized how much I had done with him alone and I never do that type of stuff with JUST Noelle.  Loyce was such a joy to be around. I really enjoyed talking with her and getting a different type of play date. I love being with other moms my age, but I also miss being around my grandparents. Noelle loved having all the attention and did great. We got to eat lunch on the patio at the Arboretum on a beautiful day!

There was lots of beautiful flowers there, but I must have taken a few photos on Instagram and forgot about my camera (oops).

Wednesday was crazy hair day at Micah's school and I colored his hair with sidewalk chalk..LOL I was trying to be creative without spending money. So it turned out a little more gray in the photo, but it looked pretty sweet in person!

We brought some sand toys to a park on Tuesday and got to use them and practice for our trip to the beach in JUNE. We can't wait to make sand castles with our cousins!

Last weekend we saw some of our favorite people! Cory and Ashley. Loved catching up with them and getting some fried chicken and donuts for dessert!! We tried a fun place in Plano called Legacy Hall that has so many different restaurants in one place.

Friday night Craig and I saw a Christian Comedian named Michael Junior. He was really funny and we enjoyed laughing together.

We went from having so many plans last week to this weekend which is the exact opposite. I am here with the kids and Craig is at a conference in Chicago. I'm glad he gets to see his family this weekend. We are missing everyone. Wish we could have gone too. Kids are doing good and taking pretty good naps still. Micah seems to be all caught up and not napping as much. He goes to bed around 8 p.m. though so I can deal with that!

So sorry it's been a long time since I've been on here. I have so many photos to share. Lots of Micah and Noelle. They are really loving each other and Noelle even cries way more when brother isn't around.

They are the cutest. Noelle looks so big compared to Micah now. I think she can hold her own. She seems a bit bigger boned and little more chunky. She loves her milk, that may be the reason!!

I love these two so much and enjoy life with them. God is great!

Love you all
