He's FOUR

Oh My Goodness... I've been running around all day trying to make Micah's day the best and its over. It went by so incredibly fast!! He had an amazing day. He got to get up to opening presents, go to school and eat mini bundt cakes with his friends, then have a small party at the park with Chick-fi-a nuggets and cake! I think this was the best day ever (if I had to say so myself).  I was so happy I got to walk him into school on his last day wearing his birthday shirt (3t) and sunglasses. He was so excited to go this morning and felt like a king on his big day.

Noelle had been under the weather for a few days and was still sleeping (and Craig was home) so I got to walk Micah in just him and I. He was so happy and excited. They had a pirate hunt in the sand for treasure at school and he loved it. Even came home with sand in his shoes!!

This morning we had him open a few presents from us, nana and papa and Grandmere and Grandpere. I had to go wake him up at 8 a.m. because I knew we needed time to do it all this morning.

When I picked him up from school we went to grab him a cake from the store. I let him pick it out. I had gone to Target to get him one but the guy there said the one he wanted would melt right away in the heat. I go too nervous to pick one for him (He's that age now...he knows what he likes) so I took him after school. I thought for sure he would pick the strawberry one he's been talking about for weeks, but right when he saw the cookies and cream cake it was sold. 

We had a blast with his best friends at the park and made for a magical day!!

So Calie got him some edible bubbles and we decided to bust them out and have a fun game with the kids. It wasn't as easy as I had hoped..

What an amazing day we had with the best people. He got to see all his friends from school and his best friends outside of school. I just love this boy so much. When I look at him I want to cry and smile so hard at the same time because of how much older he looks. He's not a little boy anymore. He's growing up so fast and I am not sure I'm ready for it...but I don't think I ever will be.
