M's new friend

Micah loves when little Ben comes over to play. He loves showing off for him and gets excited when he sees him. It's really cute. Of course he does get a little jealous from time to time. Especially when I feed Ben. 

I am watching Ben again today and it's fun to see what it's like to have two. Two babies are way easier than a toddler and a baby. I can already tell. Once M starts walking it's going to be so much harder. Thank goodness Ben doesn't move when I put him down. haha

M's nose is looking way better today. He finally looks like himself and I feel better taking him out in public. HAH

Craig is on day 5 of juicing. He's a little crabby, but who wouldn't be? I feel for him. It's tough but I think he's lost like 7 pounds in a week. CRAZY!!

Ben is waking up so I gotta run.

9 month

20 pounds and 6 ounces only at 50 percent for his age. He is no longer a big boy..just long and lean. He is 29 and a half inches tall and falls in the top 80 percent and head size is also in the top 80 percentile.

Poor guy had his 9 month photo taken with a scarred up face. I guess we'll never forget what happened now. Haha

Craig is going strong in his second day juicing. I'm really liking the fresh squeezed orange juice in the morning!!

Nose dive

So sad to post that M fell flat on his face (on carpet) and got a bad rug burn on his nose and forehead. Poor thing already had a sore nose from being sick. He is not having a good day. I think this is the beginning of a never ending bruise baby. He seems to get hurt every second. I think this stage of life may last a very long time. Taking a deep breath today and remembering boys will be boys.

Have already asked for forgiveness a million times. Haha I gotta let it go!!

Standing UP

He's standing up in his crib and in the pack in play. Pretty much everywhere he is pulling himself up. This is making bedtime a very different experience. I have to go in his room and lay him back down every now and then because he doesn't know how to do it him self. Last night (Sunday) he cried for almost an hour and I didn't understand what was going on until I realized he though tit was 7:30p.m. not 8:30p.m.!! ugh. Poor thing. Springing forward is no fun with a 9m month old. Also I will be taking his 9 month photo soon. I keep forgetting and he still has a bad running nose. I was trying to wait till he felt better to take his pic.

We are going to IKEA today we a friend (Baby Jackson) and I'm excited to get out. I was home way too much last week. And today it is raining and gross out so it will be nice to do something inside. 

Saturday we went bowling with our friends Ashley and Cory. We had to wait an hour and a half to bowl (crazy right?) but they have tons of other stuff to do there. So we played pool while we waited.

It's so nice having them here. We get along with them so well!! Micah loved it there because there were kids EVERYWHERE. He was people watching the whole time and was perfectly content. You would think he never gets out but he just loves watching other kids. Sometimes we forgot he was with us because he was so quiet. HAH

Oh PS- Craig is starting a JUICING diet. Crazy ...huh? He watched a documentary call "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead" and got into this juicing idea. I guess if this is his version of a mid life crisis then good for him.. (and me) I only have to worry about my dinners (and micah) this week. Should be easy for me.. Not so much for him. I'll keep you updated on how he does. 

Pictures from Trip

We are back on regular schedule today. Micah is sleeping a lot better now that he is in his own bed. When we got back I told Craig to lower his crib because I had a feeling he might start standing up in his crib soon. Well.. yesterday I went in to get him from his nap and guess who was standing up starring at me?? It kinda freaked me out a little bit. Anyways I guess you can call it mother intuition.

Micah is starting to feel better today. He got a bad cold from the trip and made for a bad flight home. I was really lucky with a mom (who didn't have her kid with her) sat next to me and she was great. Also they said the plane was completely full... and then we had the middle seat left empty. God is good. I really needed that middle seat since M was crabby and not feeling good. Even though it was a tough trip home I am grateful for those little things that made it better.
He did great on the flight there. No crying and had fun playing with the little girl in front of him. From the pictures you can see the timeline of my trip. Mom's house first and playing with the boys, then Hooker's house, then the "Annie" reunion play, Hannah's bday party and lastly seeing my Auntie and Uncle Mickey and cousins Steph and Luke. Wow. What a busy and fun week. I'm not going to lie it's tough with a little one traveling in the winter. Ice storm and snow days were frequent. Probably not going to travel during the winter without Craig again. Overall I'm really glad we went. Micah had a blast with all his cousins. He just loves others kids. I knew he would love them, but it was so cute to see them all interact.

It was such a blessing to be with everyone and I am so glad I got to go. Seeing everyone from the Annie play was exciting and brought back to many memories. Can't believe it was 11 years ago. Wow I'm old. Love you all and can't wait till next time!
